Gecko Gaming is a friendly local games store (FLGS) based in Felling, Gateshead. We offer a wide range of products including hobby essentials such as paints, sprays, glues and tools. You can also find a great selection of products from some of the UK’s leading companies such as Games Workshop, Warlord Games, Mantic Games, Battlefront/Gale Force 9, TT Combat and Wayland Games. No need to pay the RRP, when you will find discounts of up to 20% off across the entire store!
The main opening hours are Saturday 11-7pm, and Sunday 11-5pm, with extra late night gaming events through the week. Other opening times can be found on our Facebook page, pinned to the top of the homepage.
We pride ourselves in using premium products to enhance customer’s experiences in store when gaming. Table hire is £5 per person, and doesn’t have a time limit or slot, customers can play until they’re finished for one fixed price. There’s a huge selection of wargaming terrain, to create a battlefield to play on. And many different high quality gaming mats to fill the tables as well.
The shop runs several tournaments and events each month. Most popular being our Warhammer 40,000 matched play days, as well as the new game system for Age of Sigmar, Spearhead, which is quickly becoming the store’s most popular game. There’s also a new Path to Glory narrative campaign, where customers can play casual games of Age of Sigmar.

We also offer free regular teas and coffees to customers who are gaming in store. Other facilities include and on site bathroom, as well as an accessible door to the gaming room from street level, to give easier accessibility to anyone with mobility needs. Free parking can be found in the area, as well as being close to local bus routes and a short 10 minute walk from Felling Metro station.
